Piyush Vijay is an Indian actor,director and writer.Well known for Directing Yashwant (2024) ,Juna Furniture (2024) ,laXXmi (2020),TVF Tripling(2018),The Flush (2021),Prema Tujha rang Kasa (2018)
As an Actor : Piyush began acting at a tender age of 4 and the first role he essayed was that of Chattrapati Shivaji. His portrayal of Chattrapati Shivaji was so moving that he began getting regular acting offers in several events that were being organized in his home town. After relocating to Mumbai, Piyush started working in theater .In 4 years of his theater career he performed in over 150 characters staged under the aegis of different theater groups . He also performed in 'Akhil Bhartiya Natya Sammelan' held in Thane. After huge success in theater performances Piyush moved towards camera acting. He played characters in Marathi movies like Cinderella and Kalale Na tula. Also, he played characters in several Marathi & Hindi serials ,like crime petrol, prema tujha rang kasa, Chhatriwali ET AL. He played character in web series like Tripling producer by TVF productions. He worked in album song like keh Dena presented by Red Ribbon Music Company. Piyush acted in several short films like Nirabhra,The Flush ,Baarah Se Ek, Window, Yataharth.
As a Director : Piyush made his directorial debut from short film named laXXmi, this short film got special jury mention award at 8th Indian Cine Film Festival,2020. After this he directed three short films named Window, The Flush and Uphaat. He directed his first feature film in 2022 named Yashwant.
As a Writer : Piyush has also written scripts for several monologues, dialogues ET AL. His work in the one act plays 'Pahili Ratra' and 'Satya' were much acclaimed by audiences and critics alike. He has written short films like The Flush, Laxxmi, Uphaat ,Window,Nirabhra. Now he is writing for web series named Petrol, he has written his movie Yashwant.
Education : Piyush has B.E. degree in Computer Science.
Other : Piyush loves drawing as much as any other art form. Be it stills, pencil sketches, free hand, his hands on style is evident in every form, literally which, in his own words, enhances his imagination.
