The sixth and final season of FX’s What We Do in the Shadows will have “one of the most unique endings that has been shown on TV ever,” exclaimed the series actor Mark Proksch tonight on the Emmys red carpet.

Teasing what we can expect, he said that his day-walking vampire, Colin Robinson, “gets into a lot of mischief this year with Lazlo.”

The actor added, “We are an odd couple, but it works out in the end for the comedy.”

“I hope in five years they do a movie with Colin Robinson and the rest of the cast, but I don’t know if that will be possible,” Proksch added.

In the hit series, Proksch plays Colin Robinson, an "energy vampire" who uses the power of boredom to drain the life force from others. While on the red carpet at the Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday evening, Proksch spoke with Deadline about what's in store for Colin in Season 6. He hinted that this will include a lot of screen time with Matt Berry's Laszlo. He also said he's hoping that Colin will return in about five years for a reunion film, though that's not guaranteed as it's not his call to make.

For six seasons, Matt Berry has played centuries-old vampire Laszlo in the FX original series What We Do In The Shadows.
