Screambox Exclusive Cannibal Comedian has spent 10 consecutive weeks on the Bloody Disgusting-powered streaming service’s Top 10 list and is available on Blu-ray and VHS from Scream Team Releasing.
Now, pull back the flesh—er, curtain—on the indie horror-comedy with the trailer and poster for Blood, Sweat, Tears… and More Blood: The Making of Cannibal Comedian.
Directed and produced by Sean Haitz (Cannibal Comedian) and Ryan James (Chasing Chasing Amy) and edited by Dan Ballester, the feature-length documentary chronicles the brutal and often hilarious journey of a skeleton crew that ventured into the desert to make their dream project just weeks before the global pandemic forced them to rethink the entire production.
Fittingly, art imitates life as the doc mirrors the spirit of Cannibal Comedian — the story of a psychopathic cannibal who is fed up with his lack of ambition and takes a stab at stand-up comedy in an attempt...

We’re waiting to hear when we’re going to have the chance to see that film – but while we wait, it has been announced that filming has wrapped on a follow-up called Brute 1986! Exclusive: Bill Kaulitz has swapped the concert stage for the big screen by landing his first film role.
The Tokio Hotel frontman, whose band is among Germany’s most successful music acts, has landed a role in Brute 1986, an indie pic inspired by 1980s slasher movies.
In the film, Leather Kobra, a Sunset Strip-style glam metal band films a music video in an abandoned Western town in the middle of nowhere. Ignoring ‘no trespassing’ signs, the rebellious group have no idea they are being watched by the Birdy family, who will meet them with a “level of brutality that is as vicious as it is creative,” according to producers.
Starring alongside Kaulitz are Gigi Gustin (Stiletto), Sarah French (Blind), Pancho Moler (3 From Hell), Lew Temple (The Devil’s Rejects), Heather Grace Hancock (Wicked City) and Dazelle Yvette (Garden of Eden).

A Halloween Feast opens with a strange and bloody scene before a voiceover from Karen Long informs us that she’s worried about her mother Angela. Since she retired from teaching, she’s picked up some odd habits, such as sitting in the yard burning ants with a magnifying glass and killing the family pets.
Six months later it hasn’t gotten any better, and she goes as far as cutting off her husband Richard’s finger and feeding it to him after he mentions it’s the twelfth night in a row she’s served meatloaf for dinner. That gets her committed to a mental hospital.
Richard however wants to try and keep the family together, so he agrees to...

This weekend, horror fans in Los Angeles are in for a treat as A Halloween Feast begins its theatrical run at the Lumiere Music Hall, starting tonight, August 9th. Directed by Guile Branco, in his feature film directorial debut, the movie promises a darkly comedic twist on the traditional family dinner—one that spirals into utter madness.
The Crazies and Shivers star Lynn Lowry leads the cast in this gruesome horror-comedy, where she plays Angela Long, a former dancer whose descent into madness sets the stage for a nightmarish Halloween dinner. As Angela’s grip on reality slips, her family’s attempts to manage the situation only make things worse, unraveling their lives in bizarre and blood-soaked ways. We told you earlier this year about Stiletto, an upcoming horror movie from director Samuel Gonzalez Jr. (The Retaliators) that’s being described as a throwback to the early slashers of the 1980s. We now have an exclusive first look at the film’s villain, “The Stiletto Killer.”
The killer’s mask was created by Jason Baker, famous for designing the mask that Ethan Hawke wore in The Black Phone, and owner of Callosum FX Studios, which is the creative brainchild of legendary special effects master Tom Savini and renowned artist and effects creator Jason Baker himself.
Baker tells Bloody Disgusting in a statement, “Creating the killer’s mask for Samuel Gonzalez Jr. & Gigi Gustin on Stiletto was an absolute blast. I personally drew so much inspiration from the script. The film is a morbidly beautiful mixture of beauty and carnage. And that was the mindset we used in the design.

We told you earlier this week about Stiletto, an upcoming horror movie from director Samuel Gonzalez Jr. (The Retaliators) that’s being described as a throwback to the early slashers of the 1980s. Bloody Disgusting has now exclusively learned that makeup effects legend Tom Savini and his creative partner Jason Baker designed the killer’s mask for the film!
The duo most recently designed the mask for Ethan Hawke’s sinister “The Grabber” in box office hit The Black Phone, which is getting a sequel from Blumhouse in Summer 2025.

Plot: After bailing on her wedding, a former bride-to-be must fight off her ex-groom and seven angry killer groomsmen in order to survive the night.
Review: I always love a good revenge story. Ever since Kill Bill, even having a character named The Bride automatically evokes the imagery of Uma Thurman in that yellow and black jumpsuit. So I went into Til Death Do Us Part expecting something with a lot of personality. Sure, it was never going to live up to the Tarantino classic but that’s okay. Few do. And while the characters don’t hit quite as hard as I’d have liked, there’s a fun mystery present that elevates the film. Because the question of why this woman ditched out on her wedding doesn’t have an answer that you may expect. And that’s why I ended up enjoying myself, despite its many flaws.

As Til Death Do Us Part opens The Best Man sits in a pew working on his speech as upbeat music plays in the background. That’s followed by similar glimpses of other wedding party members prepping for the ceremony. A flashback to The Bride and Groom, nobody in this film has a name, on vacation serves to reinforce the happy image.
But Til Death Do Us Part isn’t a Hallmark Channel rom-com or Lifetime Channel thriller. Because when The Bride gets cold feet and bails on the wedding, we find out everyone involved in the ceremony is a highly skilled assassin. Now the stood-up Groom wants more than just his ring back, and their employer doesn’t take resignations well.

Love him or hate him, Rob Zombie has become one of the prominent and unique voices in the modern horror landscape. His style is immediately recognizable, his choices in aesthetics, casting, and music practically codified. I say this not to criticize Zombie; he’s one of my favorite current filmmakers, and I like or love nearly every single one of his movies.
With two of his films celebrating an anniversary this year – Lords of Salem turns 10, House of 1000 Corpses turns 20 – it seemed like the right time to revisit his filmmaking career so far.
Today we’re ranking Rob Zombie’s entire live action filmography to date…
8. 31 (2016)
If I’m being totally honest, this is the one movie on the list I’m not entirely crazy about because, after the relative box office disappointment of Zombie’s experimentation with The Lords of Salem, it feels like he retreated artistically back...

Rob Zombie's 3 from Hell has found its exclusive streaming home, as the ultra-violent horror flick is heading to Shudder early next year. After a long period of anticipation, the movie finally made its way into theaters last month with its home video release hitting store shelves in October. Those waiting to stream the movie will be able to do so in February 2020, as Shudder has confirmed its deal with Lionsgate to bring 3 from Hell to the popular horror streaming service.
"After more than 10 years, Rob Zombie has delivered," says Shudder Gm Craig Engler. He adds, "3 from Hell has the grit, blood and bite we'd expect from a highly anticipated sequel to the crucial Devil's Rejects. As we were with Zombie's 31, Shudder is thrilled to shock and shake our members with the return of the Fireflies."

There’s something very interesting about the characters musician turned filmmaker Rob Zombie creates. They walk such fine lines between good and bad, black and white, always living in those grey areas we all refrain from acknowledging. Some love them, some do not. One thing’s for certain, though, you don’t forget a Rob Zombie character, and […]

From director and writer Josh Hasty, the new Fall season slasher flick Candy Corn makes for a fun Halloween treat. Set on the October holiday and featuring several familiar faces from popular slasher movies from the past, the movie is clearly a love letter to some of our favorites from the genre dating back to the '70s and '80s. At a time when the horror genre is filled with nonstop reboots, prequels, sequels, and re-imaginings, it's always great when an entertaining original movie enters the scene, and that certainly applies to the fun popcorn flick that is Candy Corn.
Like every truly great slasher movie, the plot for Candy Corn is fairly simplistic, focusing on a paranormal murderer seeking vengeance on a small town on Halloween night. It follows social outcast Jacob Adkins, who has been made the target of a group of bullies for some good old-fashioned hazing.

If I’m being perfectly honest, the movie I was most anxious about for 2019 was Rob Zombie’s 3 From Hell. I’ve been a huge fan of Zombie’s for decades now, in terms of his music as well as his directorial efforts, and I consider The Devil’s Rejects to still be amongst the greatest horror movies we’ve seen in the last 15 years. So, how on earth does one even begin to follow up something like The Devil’s Rejects, which ended on such a pitch-perfect note? I wasn’t sure, but thankfully, Zombie seemed to have a few ideas, and we now get to enjoy another round of murder and mayhem with the gang in 3 From Hell.
And while it may not reach the same tension-fueled heights of Devil’s, or fully tap into the off-kilter anarchy on display in House of 1000 Corpses, 3 From Hell...

Bill Moseley’s career in horror has spanned decades, but he’ll probably always be best known as Otis B. Driftwood from the murderous Firefly family. The prolific actor first took on the iconic role in Rob Zombie’s House of 1,000 Corpses back in 2003. The directorial debut from the renowned musician quickly gained a cult following and led to the even more popular sequel The Devil’s Rejects.
The chaotic film stars Moseley as the most sadistic member of a depraved group of criminals who seem to enjoy nothing more than causing pain and destruction. Now, after many, many years, the Firefly family is finally back and ready to wreak more havoc on unsuspecting victims.

Nearly 15 years after the release of The Devil’s Rejects, writer/director Rob Zombie has resurrected the Firefly clan for the highly anticipated sequel, 3 From Hell, which follows Otis (Bill Moseley), Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), and Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig) after their bloody standoff with police, as they’re held accountable for their heinous crimes and are sentenced to live out the rest of their days behind bars. Because this is the Firefly family that we’re talking about, they eventually make their escape from prison, but as they make plans for their futures, they're unaware that vengeance is hot on their trail, and there are forces out there who want to make them pay for their murderous misdeeds.

We’ve got a trailer for a new indie Halloween-themed horror film for you to check out today called Candy Corn. I like the creepy vibe of the film as it tells the tale of a group of freaks who are out for blood and revenge in a small town during the Season of the Witch.
Here’s the film’s official synopsis:
It’s the eve of Halloween in Grove Hill, Ohio. A traveling carnival is in town for the weekend and local outcast, Jacob Atkins, has been hired as one of the freaks in the event’s main attraction, “Dr. Death’s Side Show Spook House Spectacular.” Meanwhile, a group of local bullies are planning their annual public hazing of Jacob, but this year, things go too far.

Rob Zombie's Firefly family returns for a real day of the dead in the 3 From Hell trailer.
Free the three! Now we can have a real day of the dead. Just when you thought there was no justice in this world, the first full-length 3 From Hell trailer promises a bloodbath and a devil of a time. The odds were a million to one against Capt. Spaulding (Sid Haig), Otis Firefly (Bill Moseley), and Vera-Ellen "Baby" Firefly (Sheri Moon Zombie) surviving their standoff with the police at their last rampage, but with a little faith, nothing is impossible.
3 From Hell is a family movie. The Firefly family has a deadly tradition going back to 2003, with Rob Zombie's directorial debut House of 1000 Corpses making way for the 2005 sequel The Devil's Rejects. Written and directed by Rob Zombie, the trilogy tells the story of Dr. Satan and his merry band of murderous misfits.

"Now we can have a real 'Day of the Dead.'" First there was House of 1000 Corpses. Then there was The Devil's Rejects. Now, from writer/director Rob Zombie comes the next blood-soaked chapter in the most violent crime saga in history... 3 from Hell. Get ready for more horror carnage!! Captain Spaulding played by Sid Haig, Otis played by Bill Moseley, and Baby played by Sheri Moon Zombie will all be "returning from the dead in 3 From Hell, after being shot hundreds of times in the final moments of Rejects." We still don't know much about what is going on in this sequel, but it looks gnarly - Rob Zombie letting loose again, topping himself with more violence. The film's full cast includes Richard Brake, Danny Trejo, Kevin Jackson, Wade Williams, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Clint Howard, Pancho Moler, Daniel Roebuck, Emilio Rivera, Austin Stoker, Dot-Marie Jones, and Tom Papa.

House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects writer-director Rob Zombie's third and final Firefly Family motion picture 3 from Hell will be unleashed upon the masses later this year - in the September vicinity. And today it looks like Zombie is teasing a special event screening of the upcoming movie which will allow fans to be the very first people to see the film. But don't get too excited just yet. Once again, Zombie is only teasing the details of this special event, but he says he will be bringing us the full details on Monday.
Specifically, Rob Zombie writes this.
"Attention! Attention! On Monday stay tuned for news on how you can be part of a special event and be the first folks to see Three From Hell!!!!! It's on!"
Well, even though we have no clue as to what Zombie is referring to here, the man sure does seem excited about it.

Rob Zombie has officially blown the lid off 3 From Hell, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Kicking off the week in style, Zombie sent horror fans into a tizzy just yesterday with the delightfully gruesome teaser trailer, which offered a sneak peek into the twisted world of his follow-up to The Devil’s Rejects. And though many are already sold on the idea of 3 From Hell, the musician-cum-filmmaker has since announced that a new, extended preview will be released next month – just in time for the film’s theatrical release in September.
That’s right; we can expect 3 From Hell to hit the big screen in three months’ time, by which point we should have a better understanding of Zombie’s master plan for Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig), Otis (Bill Moseley), and Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie).
Here’s a little status report, courtesy of the director’s Facebook...

We've received word that Candy Corn, from Josh Hasty, has been picked up by Epic Pictures and will be distributed through their Dread label. Later this year, The Lords of Salem and 31 writer-director Rob Zombie will unleash an all-new tale of terror on the masses in the form of his new Firefly Family flick 3 from Hell starring Sid Haig as Captain Spaulding, Bill Moseley as Otis B Driftwood, and Sheri Moon Zombie as Vera-Ellen "Baby" Firefly. The film promises to be a bloody and brutal good time at the movies and today we have confirmation that Zombie isn't going soft on us in his old age as Three From Hell has officially been slapped with an R-rating via the MPAA for "strong sadistic violence, language throughout, sexual content, graphic nudity, and drug use."
Holy hell, right? I mean I guess this rating should surprise precisely no one as this is Rob Zombie we are talking about here and the man sure does love his ultraviolence. But still, this is - no pun intended - one hell of a rating.

Writer-director Rob Zombie is hard at work finishing up his new Firefly Family fright flick 3 from Hell, and the man is all over Instagram posting pics as he works on the film's final stage of post-production, sound-mixing. In fact, it looks like Zombie is posting a new pic from the flick for every single day of the process. Along with Strange Days, Super Mario Bros., Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Do the Right Thing actor Richard Edson and Battle for the Planet of the Apes and Assault on Precinct 13 actor Austin Stoker in currently unnamed roles.
Not only that, but Rob Zombie let us all know via these new posts that sound-mixing for 3 from Hell is being handled by a triple...

The Haunted World of El Superbeasto writer-director Rob Zombie's new nightmare Three from Hell has completed production and is set to be released sometime later this year. This third entry in the Firefly Family saga is a follow-up to his first feature House of 1000 Corpses starring Karen Black, Rainn Wilson, Walton Goggins, and Tom Towles, and its 2005 sequel The Devil's Rejects starring Ken Foree, Matthew McGrory, Lew Temple, and William Forsythe. And today Zombie himself took to Instagram to share an all-new pic of Bill Moseley's Otis Driftwood.
"Otis may be spending his days behind bars but at least he's still got his music."
You can check out the new pic for yourself below which, as promised, features Otis stuck in a jail cell, airing out his tighty whities and listening to some tunes. We can only imagine what this tune might be considering that Rob Zombie loves...

It was only a matter of time before someone named a horror movie after FrightFest. Unfortunately, this dismal effort (also known as American Fright Fest) from director Anton Novakovic isn’t worthy of the festival that bears its name. In fact, it’s so bad that it makes the similarly themed, similarly titled and similarly not very good Blood Fest (also released this year) look like a masterpiece by comparison.
Set in smalltown Somerton, Pennsylvania (“The safest small town in America”), Fright Fest centres on washed up, drug-crazed horror director Spencer Crowe (Dylan Walsh), who’s hired to create a live action Halloween event by vote-hungry Mayor Fowler. Crowe’s Fright Fest takes place in an abandoned asylum,...
