With extensive training in camera work, production, and leadership skills, Jacob's dedication to filmmaking is demonstrated by their commitment to learning and personal growth. As the creative force behind Who's Cookin' Productions, Jacob constructs narrative, editorial, educational, and commercial projects as well as music production and management. In addition to their production work, Jacob is deeply involved in activism. They founded NYOFF, a non-profit for local filmmakers that prioritizes no-budget to mid-budget projects, with a special focus on uplifting the works of queer, BIPOC, and women filmmakers. As a non-binary and queer filmmaker, Jacob's personal journey and identity are reflected in their commitment to championing diverse voices and stories. As the founder of NYOFF, they have been at the forefront of bringing together diverse voices and innovative storytelling through this celebrated platform.
