WWE SmackDown is different this time! And it’s not off to a great start. The March 14 episode of Smackdown kicks off WWE’s pre-WrestleMania 41 tour of Europe and the United Kingdom. The episode saw matches held at the Olimpic Arena in Barcelona, Spain. Among the events promoted for the episode were United States champion LA Knight opening the show and the singles match between Charlotte Flair and B-Fab.
WWE SmackDown
LA Knight started the episode with a promo but was cut off by Jimmy Uso, who wanted a spot in the WrestleMania card. Later, Bloodline entered the ring, and Flair defeated B-Fab in her first singles match in fifteen months. However, Tiffany Stratton entered the ring and got into a brawl with Flair. Both events saw some major botches from the wrestlers.

The final episode of WWE SmackDown was cut short due to a censorship issue. It is reported that during the Women’s Championship match between Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae, the television screen turned dark. According to a report, the broadcasting of the match had to be paused because Stratton suffered a wardrobe malfunction, as her top slipped off while the show was on. The championship match was being taken place in Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

Although international viewers accessing the event through Netflix did not face this interruption. The unedited clip of the wardrobe malfunction remained on Netflix, allowing the match to proceed without interruption for its audience.

The new era of WWE dawned last year before WrestleMania 40. WWE Cco Paul “Triple H” Levesque and WWE CEO Nick Khan have been leading the company and taking it to unprecedented heights that they have never seen in the last four decades.
Triple H has been at the forefront of creative direction, storylines, and development of WWE superstars. Under his regime, WWE has seen the rise of superstars like Jey Uso, Bron Breakker, Cody Rhodes, Tiffany Stratton, and many other names, who are the cornerstones of this new era.

However, there were other prospects for Triple H, for whom he had envisioned huge things in the future. But they have failed to make any significant impact on the fans so far. Moreover, out of many of those names, The Game has seemingly given up on four of those WWE superstars.

In its first week of WWE moving to the "second show" to three hours, WWE SmackDown from Phoenix, Az, was loaded with incidents. Sami Zayn and The Usos competed in 6-man Tag Team action against The Bloodline in the night's Main Event. Earlier in the evening, Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa met in the ring ahead of Monday's Tribal Combat match with Roman Reigns, and Drew McIntyre continued to make his presence felt.
Elsewhere, gold was on the line as DIY defended the tag team championship against DIY, and Nia Jax defended her title against Naomi in a very eventful WWE Women's Championship match. Michin and Piper Niven continued their feud with US Champion Chelsea Green waiting in the wings, Shinsuke Nakamura vs Andrade met in a hard-hitting match, and Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens continued their feud ahead of their match at the Royal Rumble.

Welcome to this review of this past Friday’s episode of Smackdown, right here on Nerdly. Let’s see what went down on this week’s show…
Match #1: Bayley def. Candice LeRae The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Looking to get back to her winning ways, Bayley took on the surging Candice LeRae. Bayley tried getting the win with the top-rope elbow drop, but LeRae wisely rolled out of the way. After The Role Model chased The Poison Pixie around the ring, LeRae feigned an injury, but Bayley rolled up LeRae for the pinfall.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: #DIY def. Pretty Deadly The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Tommaso Ciampa jumped on Pretty Deadly from the opening bell, launching Kit Wilson into the ring post and repeatedly slamming Elton Prince on the announce table. Ciampa went on a rampage, refusing to tag in Johnny Gargano...

WWE SmackDown returned to American soil in Buffalo, NY, for a show that begins the road to Survivor Series. The Original Bloodline is back together once again, as Sami Zayn came to Smackdown to confront Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso, with Jey Uso by his side. After being turned down at first, Roman eventually fought side-by-side with Sami against The Bloodline, as the teams seem all but certain to take part in this year's War Games.
Kevin Owens put Randy Orton out of action for the foreseeable future, hitting the banned piledriver on him despite his history of neck-related injuries. Bayley stole a victory from Candice LeRae, Motor City Machine Guns continued their hot streak by beating A-Town Down Under, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defeated Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton in more tag team action and WWE revealed it will be introducing a US Women's Championship in the coming weeks.

Welcome to this review of WWE Crown Jewel 2024, right here on Nerdly… The controversy over this event seems to die down with each and every event passing and I’m not sure how I feel about that. Anyway, let’s see what happened during this year’s show, which was marked by the champ versus champ matches for the newly-minted Crown Jewel belts!
Match #1: The Bloodline def. Roman Reigns and The Usos The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Solo Sikoa earned the biggest pinfall of his career by earning the three-count over Roman Reigns and anointing himself as the one true Tribal Chief of The Bloodline. The Usos kicked things off by bringing back their signature tandem offense, but it wasn’t long before The Samoan Werewolf brought the fight back to them, leading to a tense standoff. With The Og Bloodline in firm control, Jey rebuffed the...

Match #1: Liv Morgan def. Tiffany Stratton The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Despite Nia Jax distracting the official on the ring apron and kicking the Money in the Bank briefcase to Tiffany Stratton to use against Liv Morgan, the Women’s World Champion avoided the hit and rolled up her opponent for the three-count while grabbing the tights. When Morgan attempted to use the briefcase on Jax after the bell, though, the WWE Women’s Champion took it away from her and used it on Liv, Raquel Rodregez and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio before crushing her WWE Crown Jewel opponent with the Annihilator.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: The Street Profits def. Pretty Deadly The following is courtesy of wwe.com:...

WWE debuted the Crown Jewel Championships for the first time in Saudi Arabia, as the Men's and Women's World Champions from Raw and Smackdown met in Champion vs Champion bouts. Crown Jewel saw Cody Rhodes defeat Gunther in a superb main event, using an inventive pinfall counter to Gunther's deep sleeper hold, while Liv Morgan defeated Nia Jax after interference from Raquel Rodriguez and another failed Mitb cash-in from Tiffany Stratton. They will go down in history as the first-ever Crown Jewel Champions.
All other champions also retained their titles. Jade Cagill and Bianca Belair retained their championships in a Fatal Four Way and LA Knight defeated Carmelo Hayes and Andrade to keep his US Championship. Seth Rollins defeated a bloodied Bronson Reed, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens's match didn't even manage to start because of the explosion of violence from Ko, and Solo Sikoa pinned Roman Reigns to...
