Alzavia Abrahams

Alzavia Abrahams was born in Cape Town, South Africa. He is the second born to mother, Zelda Abrahams and father, Andrew Abrahams. After graduating from Parow High School, Alzavia enrolled at City Varsity where he studied 'Acting For Camera' for a period of a year and a half before being forced to drop out due to financial restraints. Despite his circumstances, he managed to land a role in a local South African TV show, known as 'Arendsvlei' (2018), which was his first professional gig.
In 2019 Alzavia got the opportunity of a lifetime to perform at iPOP LA in Los Angeles, California and won first runner up for 'Young Actor of the Year 2019'.
During the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, Alzavia found himself working at a call center to aid his parents financially, but felt great unhappiness as his heart's desire and childhood dream was to be an actor. In 2021, Alzavia left his call center job to pursue being an actor full-time and through a true act of faith landed his first international break in Netflix's Blood & Water Season 2 as 'Zayd'.
In 2022, after being a part of Netflix's Blood & Water Season 3, Alzavia had the opportunity to get cast as a feature in the Apple Original Series known as, Invasion Season 2 in 2023.
Alzavia lives in Cape Town, Western Cape.
