Biography

LaDamien Lewis is an American actor whose career began as a body double for Wesley Snipes before earning supporting roles in an independent feature and an American Film Institute thesis film. He later wrote, directed, produced, and starred in his own short, and has since booked his first leading role in an upcoming feature. A former athlete, Lewis channels the same drive and discipline into acting, blending Method, Meisner, Stanislavski, and other techniques into his own unique style. For him, acting is more than performance: "I act because I have to, just like a fish has to swim."
