His father, Sanjay Mody, is a business man in Mumbai and his mother Sangita Mody is a Beautician. He completed his 12th standard from Kishinchand Chellaram College (KC College) in Mumbai. He graduated from Usha Pravin Gandhi College, where he was simultaneously doing theatre and dance and then he enrolled in Pace University to pursue Master's degree in Computer Science and simultaneously enrolled in a two-year acting course at the New York Film Academy, New York and finally moved to Mumbai in 2021 to pursue a film career .
He made a small, uncredited appearance as a Tertiary Character in a Dharma film in 2021 family comedy-drama Jug jugg Jeeyo which was a theatrical release across the globe. After that , he auditioned for Crackdown Season 2 webseries (2022) and was selected. Darsh's performance in Web Series and Raghu met with critical acclaim . After the success of his debut Web Series, he was offered a negative lead role in Zee5/ZeeTV Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya ShivShakti TV Serial.
