Warning: contains spoilers for What if...Galactus Transformed Hulk!
The Hulk may be the newest and strongest herald of Galactus, but he is also, surprisingly, the most gentle. In What If…Galactus Transformed Hulk? the planet eater empowers the Jade Giant with the Power Cosmic, making him his newest herald. Yet rather than create a cosmic and rage-powered behemoth, the Hulk becomes perhaps the most noble of Galactus’ heralds, even eclipsing the Silver Surfer.
What If…Galactus Transformed the Hulk? Is written by Mat Groom and drawn by Lan Medina. The one-shot reveals that Galactus once again attacked Earth, and there was no stopping him this time, so a bargain was struck: Hulk becomes Galactus’ herald, and he spares the planet. Galactus appealed to Hulk’s sense of alienation in order to convince him to join. The Hulk serves Galactus well, but one difference sets him apart from other heralds:...

Marvel Studios just made me think that one power upgrade from Marvel Comics I never expected to be seen in the MCU could actually happen in Captain America: Brave New World. Brave New World will mark Anthony Mackie's theatrical debut as Sam Wilson's Captain America, but he won't be the only new hero suiting up in the Phase 5 sequel. 2021's The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series introduced us to Danny Ramirez's Joaquín Torres, who die-hard Marvel Comics fans will know as Sam Wilson's successor as the Falcon.
Several bird-themed heroes have been introduced to the MCU over the years, including the likes of Sam Wilson's Falcon, Adrian Toomes' Vulture and Clint Barton's Hawkeye. Joaquín Torres will suit up as the new Falcon in Captain America: Brave New World, but one recent bird-themed hero makes me think his future in the MCU will be far more unusual than his predecessor's.

X-Men's Professor Charles Xavier is one of the most powerful and experienced psychics in the world, but even with all that power, can he hold a candle to Marvel's Devourer of Worlds, Galactus? Two pivotal fights reveal the answer, settling whether the mutant leader's telepathy is capable of battling the Power Cosmic.
Galactus and Professor X first faced off in 1999's X-Men #90 (from Alan Davis and Terry Kavanagh.) In the issue, the X-Men finds themselves transported back through time to the day that Galactus consumed Tarnax IV. The throneworld of the Skrull empire, Tarnax IV's destruction caused chaos across the galaxy, ultimately leading to the Skrulls' Secret Invasion of Earth not to mention the billions of lives lost in the moment. Ever the dreamer, Xavier assumes his astral form to confront Galactus, hoping to persuade the Devourer of Worlds to spare the planet.
Ultimately, Xavier can't prevent the destruction...

A new update from Natasha Lyonne has me convinced that theories about her character in The Fantastic Four: First Steps have just been confirmed. Marvel Studios began to reveal the main cast of The Fantastic Four: First Steps on Valentine's Day, confirming Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the titular MCU team. If this wasn't exciting enough, even more cast members were revealed shortly after, including one of my favorite actors, Natasha Lyonne, and I reckon she might have just teased exactly who she's playing in the MCU.
Deadline confirmed Natasha Lyonne's casting in The Fantastic Four: First Steps back in May, and theories immediately began to emerge regarding who she could be playing. Some of my favorite theories have suggested Lyonne could play the Inhuman Medusa, Frankie Raye's Nova, or even a gender-swapped Doctor Doom, but I think there's only one clear casting for the beloved New Yorker.

Following yesterday's new photos from the set of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, we finally have the video to go with it.
As well as showcasing the Baxter Building's now-completed Excelsior Launch Pad (blue logo and all), we see a group of extras reacting to the takeoff and landing of a vehicle likely to be added down the line with VFX.
After watching this footage, it's also clear that isn't Reed Richards and Sue Storm watching from afar despite what we were told yesterday. When it comes to the aforementioned vehicle, with these people standing on the Excelsior Launch Pad, it's almost certainly the Fantasticar.
The cast has reportedly been spotted in costume but aside from a leak showcasing The Thing, those images have yet to surface. With filming taking place at Pinewood Studios rather than out in the world, it seems photographers are limited with what they can share.

“Fantastic Four: First Steps” is set to be one of the most highly anticipated MCU projects, slated for release in 2025. The film will introduce Marvel’s first family to the MCU, along with some of their most iconic villains.
It’s already confirmed that Galactus will appear, voiced by Ralph Ineson, and Julia Garner has been cast as Shalla-Ball, a female version of the Silver Surfer and Galactus’ Herald.
Filming for “Fantastic Four: First Steps” is currently underway at Pinewood Studios in London, and we’ve already seen several set leaks. These include Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm holding a young Franklin Richards, and a recent video showing crew members adjusting The Thing’s costume.
The latest set leak could be either a minor detail or a significant reveal. An image circulating on X, which appears to be from the “First Steps” set, shows a woman in black clothing covered in gold body paint.

‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’ is easily one of the most exciting MCU projects. The movie, bound for 2025 release is going to introduce Marvel’s first family to the MCU as well as some of their most notable villains.
We already know that Galactus will be in the movie, voiced by Ralph Ineson, and that the role of Galactus’ Herald went to Julia Garner who will be portraying Shalla-Ball, a female version of Silver Surfer.

Now the latest set leak could turn out to be largely irrelevant or a major thing. An image started circulating on X that is very clearly from the set of ‘First Steps.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been a whirlwind of excitement lately, with news and rumors swirling around the highly anticipated Fantastic Four reboot. We were informed of its revised release date and casting news yesterday, Valentine’s Day. Fans are delighted with Pedro Pascal’s casting in the film, but disturbing reports have surfaced regarding Doctor Doom and Silver Surfer’s appearances.
The Og Silver Surfer’s MCU debut is reportedly not happening in the upcoming The Fantastic Four, despite earlier rumors to the contrary. Galactus will still appear in the film, and the character will at least have another herald. Recent reports suggest that Galactus and, more intriguingly, a female Silver Surfer could play antagonistic roles in the movie.
Doctor Doom, the Fantastic Four’s arch-nemesis, is also an important figure in their universe, but his appearance in the MCU is uncertain, according to recent reports.

In the ever-evolving landscape of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the rumor mill is often buzzing with tantalizing speculations. The latest rumor to captivate the fandom is that Galactus’ herald in the upcoming MCU Fantastic Four reboot will be a woman. Coming from the Twitter account of MyTimeToShineHello, which boasts an impressive 80.48% accuracy rate for Marvel news according to Reddit, this nugget of information has given fans much to ponder.

For the uninitiated, Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds, often employs a herald to seek out planets for him to consume. The most famous of these heralds is the Silver Surfer. However, in Marvel Comics, Galactus has had several heralds, some of whom are female. Nova (Frankie Raye), for example, was a love interest of Johnny Storm and later became a herald of Galactus.
