Jishnu Vijayan Nair is an Indian actor, writer, and motivational speaker, known for his versatile contributions to Malayalam and Sanskrit cinema, as well as his work in personal and professional development. Originally from Ranni, Pathanamthitta, Kerala, he completed his schooling and graduation in Ranni and holds an MBA from Pondicherry.
He made his acting debut in the acclaimed documentary 21 Months of Hell (2017), directed by Yadu Vijayakrishnan, portraying a freedom fighter tortured during the Indian Emergency of 1975.
In 2020, he received critical acclaim for his lead role as Shandilyan in Bhagavadajjukam, a Sanskrit-language film that brought classical literature to the screen in an engaging and contemporary style.
Jishnu later appeared as Vishnu in the award-winning Malayalam film Uttavar (2022), directed by Anil Dev, which won the Kerala Film Critics Award and the J.C. Daniel Foundation Award. He also featured in the legal drama JSK (Janaki v/s State of Kerala) alongside Suresh Gopi and is set to appear in the upcoming film Revolver Rinko (2025).
Apart from acting, Jishnu is the founder of The Riseup Learning Solutions, an organization focused on empowering individuals through training and coaching. He has written and spoken extensively on leadership, motivation, and personal growth.
