Serkan Ercan

He was introduced to acting during his high school years. He had his first stage experience with Haldun Taner's play Ayisiginda Samata. He participated in various workshops on "body, text and theater" in his final year of high school. In 1993, he enrolled in Pera Fine Arts, where he also took "stage and diction" courses. While he was still in his second year at this school, he passed the conservatory entrance exam and entered Istanbul University State Conservatory in 1995. He started his cinema career in 2001 with the movie Sellale. He won the Best Supporting Actor award at the Adana Golden Boll Film Festival with his role in the movie Golge in 2008, and the Best Actor award at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival with his role in the movie Toll Booth in 2010.
