Thor's new team, the Children of Odin, is made up of powerful gods, including Loki and Angela, as confirmed in the preview for The Immortal Thor #11. They are searching for their missing brother, Tyr, who went missing in the G.O.D.S. tie-in page featured at the end of The Immortal Thor #1. The team may also include Hela - another child of Odin - who is feared by her siblings, though readers won't know if that's true until the release of the full issue!
Warning: Contains Spoilers for The Immortal Thor #11! Thor is famously a founding member of the Avengers, which is a team that has time and again proven why they are considered Earths Mightiest Heroes. However, as strong as the Avengers are, the superhero squad is nothing compared to Thors new team, as it consists of nothing but immensely powerful gods. And now, Marvel Comics has...

When Icelandic directors Smari Gunn and Logi Sigursveinsson set out to make The Home Game, they couldn’t have imagined the response this small, local Icelandic documentary would gather on the festival circuit. The film, which follows a group of spirited underdogs as they fight for local soccer glory, is coming off the back of a rapturous reception at the Glasgow Film Festival, where it won the fest’s prestigious Audience Award. It previously screened at the Tromso International Film Festival, Doc NYC and Nordisk Panorama.
The Home Game follows the story of an impulsive Icelander, Kari Vidarsson, who wants to fulfil his father Vidar’s failed dream to get their small fishing village, Hellissandur (population 369), a home game on the unused football pitch he built. While Vidar managed to build a team in 1994, the side ultimately drew an away game and fell to a 10-0 defeat. Fast-forward to 2020 and...

Laurits' pet, the tapeworm named Jörmungandr, plays a crucial role in setting up the end of the world in Ragnarok Season 3, just like in Norse mythology. The release of Jörmungandr into the ocean foreshadows the beginning of the end and the eventual death of Magne, who is a reincarnation of Thor. The tapeworm symbolizes the trauma and delusions that Magne experiences, and defeating it signifies his recovery and return to a normal life.
The Netflix series Ragnarok saw a shocking moment where Lauritis got a tapeworm and ended up raising it as a pet. In the Season 2 finale, Laurits (Jonas Strand Gravli) released his pet serpent into the ocean, an act that perfectly set up the show’s ultimate ending. Over the course of its first two seasons, Ragnarok cultivated a languid pace to build up to the Twilight of the Gods, taking its time to flesh out a modernized mythology and in-depth character motivations.

Ragnarok on Netflix reimagines Norse mythology, focusing on the coming-of-age elements rather than the traditional portrayal of gods. The character Magne embodies Thor, with superhuman powers and a sense of righteousness, while grappling with his role and moral dilemma. Laurits, revealed as Loki, struggles with his mischievous nature and core identity, playing into the conflict of Loki in Norse myths and triggering the end of the world.
While many fans wondered who are the gods in Ragnarok on Netflix, the series turned out to be about something very different in the end. Instead, it held ont its coming-of-age elements by reimagining Norse mythology. Ragnarok season 1 ended on a feverishly climactic note, with Magne (David Stakston) going up against the Jutul patriarch, Vidar (Gísli Örn Garðarsson), and the next two seasons introduced more characters based on these gods in some unique ways. The Norwegian fantasy drama shifted its focus on Magne’s brother,...

In the fourth episode of Ragnarok season 3, suspense escalated as Magne desperately searched for his stolen hammer. Laurits found himself torn between his families. In the face of Fjor’s menacing presence in his life, he confessed everything to Jens, disclosing his true identity as Loki. The gods, including Wotan, Iman, and Harry, formed a plan to retrieve the hammer. However, Saxa disrupted their plan by snatching the hammer from the car that Fjor and Ran were driving. Odin managed to stop Saxa and retrieve the hammer. Magne didn’t change at all; rather, his fixation on power persisted. In the fifth episode of Ragnarok, some twists and turns were introduced, adding another layer of mystery to the narrative.

Who Were The Newly Initiated Gods?
Episode 5 opened with Wotan introducing two newly initiated gods to their group: Kiwi, his lifelong friend, as the Watchman of Gods, Heimdall, and Jens as Balder.

Ragnarok is a Norwegian Netflix series that blends Norse mythology with a coming-of-age drama. The narrative opens in the town of Edda, where a teenager named Magne discovers that he is the reincarnation of the Nordic god Thor. As he becomes aware of his supernatural abilities, he embraces his extraordinary power to prevent the impending catastrophe of Ragnarok, the mythological apocalypse. Alongside the forces of good, the series introduces us to the Jutuls, a family who outwardly appear as humans but are actually the reincarnations of ancient giants, or the Jotnar.
In the initial two seasons of Netflix’s Ragnarok, which aired in 2020 and the subsequent year, we saw Magne explore his supernatural capabilities. He was even able to create the most powerful weapon, Mjolnir. Simultaneously, his younger brother Laurits turned out to be the reincarnation of Loki, the God of Mischief. However, Laurits wasn’t just Magne’s brother...

While Thor may only have a few siblings in the MCU, comic continuity doesn't shy away from Odin's extensive brood. Even the weakest of Thor's siblings are the equivalent of a superhero in their own right, while the strongest of his brothers and sisters are gods in more than name.
While some of these family members may not have been given enough page space to show the full capabilities of their powers, others have left an important impact not just on the Thor comics but on Marvel as a whole. Here, then, are Thor's ten most powerful siblings in Marvel lore, ranked by their incredible power.
Honir
Making his debut in Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's Journey Into Mystery #106 way back in the '60s, Honir - also known as Honir the Hunter - is believed to be Thor's half-brother. He is highly regarded as the champion spear...

Warning: The following contains Spoilers for Ragnarok season 2.
The Netflix series Ragnarok takes place in Norway and includes a stellar cast, but doesn't necessarily include one big-name star — here is the Ragnarok cast and character guide. The fantasy thriller series includes numerous strong performances, and could possibly introduce viewers to actors and actresses that could use some extra streaming exposure. Naturally, many Netflix subscribers may be curious if and where they've seen any of the Ragnarok cast members before. Based on Norse mythology, Netflix's Ragnarok follows a teenager named Magne who learns that he possesses extraordinary physical abilities.
In fact, he appears to be the modern-day Thor, certainly to a family of secretly-surviving Old Norse Giants known as the Jutuls, some of the most powerful characters in Ragnarok. When Magne's environmentally-conscious friend gets killed, he investigates but doesn't impress the locals with his seemingly-paranoid ramblings. This sets the stage for Magne's epic transformation.

The plot of God of War Ragnarok is faithful to Norse mythology's version of the titular cataclysmic event, though Odin is sadly never seen confronting his fated nemesis. The action-packed sequel puts a unique spin on the story of Ragnarok, with Kratos and Atreus fighting to prevent the end of the world while unwittingly becoming tangled in the prophesied destruction. Ragnarok involves several fatal confrontations between Norse gods and monsters, but Odin never even meets his classic killer in God of War Ragnarok.

The Norse legend of Ragnarok pairs up various Aesir gods and monstrous Giants in battles to the death, with God of War Ragnarok's ending reflecting most of these matchups. Norse myth says that Thor and the World Serpent Jormungandr will kill each other during the thunderous battle of Ragnarok, which is shown in the game as the two titans battle in the outskirts of Asgard. Loki and...

A new show about witches is coming to television on January 8th, 2023. Mayfair Witches is the Anne Rice legacy that proves that witches will never go out of style. Television shows and movies have been exploiting the lore for years, bringing book and comic characters to life and creating new ones.
There have been many powerful witches on television, each something special in their own universe. Some of their powers are general, something most witches possess, while others are specific to them. But it's all these abilities combined that determine which of these witches is more powerful than the others.
Melisandre - Game Of Thrones (2011 - 2019) Stream On HBO Max & Hulu
Melisandre from Game Of Thrones was a Red Priestess, giving her a range of magical abilities. She was a formidable opponent and a powerful witch, who had the ability to do blood magic, pyrokinesis, glamour magic and even delay aging.

In God of War: Ragnarok, Strength is one of the game's six key stats, governing how much damage Kratos deals with each of his attacks. Strength makes Kratos deal more damage with every hit, from punches to shield bashes to weapon throws. High Strength also overwhelms high-level enemies, whose defense stats can massively reduce the amount of damage dealt to them. This stat is excellent for players who want consistent high Dps.
Gear is the best way to increase stats early on, so a player going for Strength builds should focus on getting equipment from the Dwarves and the Nornir chests scattered around God of War: Ragnarok's map. The gear players should aim for is the pieces of Vidar's armor set, the Cursed Empress Handles attachment for the Blades of Chaos, and the Furious Maul attachment for the Leviathan's Axe. These items give excellent bonuses to both Strength and...

God of War: Ragnarok embraces its RPG elements more than many other modern games of its kind, which means that you’ll want to constantly upgrade Kratos and Atreus as you progress in order to survive the adventure’s toughest encounters.
