When April Balascio realized her dad, Edward Wayne Edwards, may have had something to do with a double-homicide in a Wisconsin town where the family had once lived, she struggled with the decision to call authorities.

Joe Simpson is cancer-free after receiving radiation treatments, a rep confirms to People.

The 59-year-old father of Jessica and Ashlee Simpson was initially diagnosed with prostate cancer in September 2016 and confirmed the news in November.

“He’s feeling great now and is optimistic,” a source close to Simpson told People at the time. “He’s felt so much love and support from his family and friends.”

He began radiation treatment in February. Simpson recently celebrated his granddaughter Maxwell’s birthday in early May.

According to a Radar Online report, Ayers was first diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma in the fall of 2013 and it has since advanced.

Designer and model L'Wren Scott has died after an apparent suicide, People has confirmed. Scott was found dead inside her Manhattan apartment Monday morning, the New York Post reports. She was 49. The longtime girlfriend of rocker Mick Jagger, Scott dressed A-list stars like Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker and Olivia Wilde in her gowns. Raised in Utah as Luann Bambrough, she reinvented herself as a model in Paris and later became a stylist to the stars in the '90s, according to a 2009 Daily Beast interview. Moe Jelline (You Again) will write the project, which is based on the Gillian Telling book Dirty Girls: The Naked Truth About Our Guilty Secrets. The single-camera half-hour revolves around a group of female friends who reveal the dirty truth about the secret lives of women.
