German-born Celebrity Fashion and Costume Designer Kara Saun is CEO of Kara Saun LLC, an LA-based fashion and costume design house that specializes in highly-stylized fashion, talent, music and dance-driven projects. As the Costume Designer behind The Disney Channel's hugely successful franchise "Descendants" 1 & 2, Kara Saun has created a frenzy with her iconic, wickedly whimsical fashion-forward designs, which quickly have become part of the pop culture.

As a Fashion Consultant enlisted by Disney Consumer Products-DCP for her visionary creative direction and design talents, Kara Saun created the colorful narrative and addictive fashion world surrounding the "Descendants" 1 & 2 franchise.

Known as "The Fashion FairyGodmother" to legions of young fans around the world, Kara Saun was approached to launch her new teen-driven lifestyle brand "The Fashion FairyGodmother". With primary components of social responsibility and fashion activism, the brand will focus on empowering girls, tweens, teens, and young adults to explore their many talents, and use those talents for good, while promoting reusable, eco-conscious fashion, and donating a portion of all profits to charities benefiting the empowerment of girls.

As a Fashion Designer, many fashion fans know Kara Saun as a standout on Season One of the hit series, "Project Runway". On the heels of Project Runway, Kara Saun became the go-to Costume Designer, behind music, dance and fashion-driven hits such as MTV's "America's Best Dance Crew" (1-5), NBC's "The Sing-Off" (1-3). She also Costume Designed Disney's "Make and "Jabbawockeez MUS.I.C." Vegas Show.

Other notable Costume Design projects include "Zapped", starring Zendaya & the last 10 Comedy Central Roasts, including the Comedy Central Roasts of Justin Bieber, and James Franco. Celebrities who have worn the Kara Saun Label include; Zendaya, Heidi Klum, Zoe Saldana, Queen Latifah, Eve, Mary J.
