Finnian's love for acting was sparked at the Australian Theatre for Young People, where he participated in the Drama Ensemble and Young Theatre Makers. He expanded his craft at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) and the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) where he studied Drama, Improvisation and Acting for Screen.
At 17, Finnian has already assembled a diverse list of credits in front of and behind the camera. In 2024/25, Finnian was cast in the role of Scott on Home & Away and in 2023, Finnian played the role of Alfie in the Disney+ series The Artful Dodger. In 2022 played the lead role of Sam in 'The Other You' opposite Luke Ford and Kym Jackson, and in 2021, he played the lead role of Jake in the feature film 'Hostile Forces' alongside George Basha and Maya Stange.
Finnian won the Flickerfest Documentary Award for his short form documentary 'The Solomon Islands' and The V Fest Short Filmmaking Award for his documentary 'The Hoodoos' as well as working as a production assistant and 2nd unit cinematographer on the award winning documentary series 'Inspired Architecture'.
