Toe-tally Weird! Minnesota Cat with 28 Toes Ties Record for Feline with the Most Digits
Most kitties have 20 furry, little toes — affectionately called “toe beans” by many cat fanatics — but for Paws the cat, that wasn’t enough.

The Northfield, Minnesota feline has 28 furry digits between her four paws. And if that sounds like a lot, that’s because it is. According to CBS News, she is tied for the most toes on one kitty. The cat who currently holds the Guinness World Record for Cat with the Most Toes also has 28.

All of Paws’ extra nubs are due to polydactyly, a congenital physical anomaly that causes felines (humans and dogs too!) to grow extra digits.
