She claimed she was only paid a flat fee of $1,750 for doing the first batch of "Miss Cleo" commercials, which were filmed over three days. Psychic Readers Network earned millions from the commercials and merchandise using Harris' image. She was later hired as a phone operator by the company and paid 24 cents per minute (or about $15 an hour).
