Paige Marie Smeltzer
- Actress
Paige Marie Smeltzer, born in the small mountain town of Roanoke, Virginia, discovered her passion for performing through the comfort of classic movies like 'The Sound of Music' and 'The Wizard of Oz'. Inspired by the magic of storytelling, her parents, Robyn and Kirby Smeltzer, immediately enrolled her in acting camps by the age of 10, nurturing her budding talent and love for the stage.
At 11 years old, Paige landed her first role as Grace in the musical 'Annie' at her middle school production, which ignited her commitment to pursuing a career in the arts. Shortly after, she began vocal training in jazz, classic rock, and musical theater, honing her skills as a versatile performer. By high school, Paige was performing in regional theater productions at Mill Mountain Theatre, solidifying her reputation as a dedicated and talented young actress.
As a fan of the filmmaker and professor David Emerson Tony, Paige pursued a BFA at Virginia Commonwealth University's VCU ARTS program, where she graduated with honors. Now based in New York City, Paige works as an actress in vertical international soap operas, writes original scripts, and continues to freelance as a model. She is best known for her role as Amy in season 2 of the Apple TV+ series Swagger.
Paige credits her growth and achievements in the entertainment industry to her perseverance, passion, and the support of her mentor and actor friend, Colin Key, who has been instrumental in guiding her artistic journey.
