We’ve read a whole lot on the B A Pass Director Ajay Bahl’s walk-out of the Bhatts’ camp over the project CityLights which clocks 11 years on May 30. What is not known to the public is the real reason why the fall-out happened. Apparently the flash-point that severed Ajay Bahl’s relationship with the Bhatts was the film’s pretty Sikkimese model-turned-actress Geetanjali Thapa’s remuneration.

The problems started early. Ajay Bahl had no stress with Mahesh Bhatt. It was Mukesh who first declared that CityLights would have a budget of Rs 5 ½ crores. But when Ajay insisted on Raj Kumar Yadav for the film’s leading man Mukesh further cut the budget as he felt Raj was not a boxoffice pull.

Mumbai, Aug 2 (Ians) Actress Geetanjali Mishra, who has stepped into the role of Rajesh in the television show ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’, has shared her skincare routine for the monsoon season.

The monsoon season, while seems pleasant to a lot of people, also brings with it a fair share of skincare challenges. The actress shared that she uses a face pack made from Pomegranate seeds.

The increased humidity and dampness can lead to various skin issues, from acne to dehydrated skin. To keep the skin happy, plump, and glowing, Geetanjali has shared her best-kept secret for monsoon skincare regime.

Mumbai, July 24 (Ians) Actress Geetanjali Mishra, who is known for ‘Crime Patrol’, ‘Kundali Bhagya’, ‘Balika Vadhu’ and ‘Naagin’, will soon be seen stepping into the role of Mrs Rajesh Singh, the level-headed wife of the titular character of Happu Singh in the television show ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’.

The actress shared that as a viewer, she has always loved watching the show for its characters and entertaining storylines. However, she never imagined essaying a character that she enjoyed watching on screen even in her “wildest dreams”.

She shared that the exhilaration is indescribable, and what’s even more incredible for her is the opportunity to share the screen with seasoned and remarkable performers like Yogesh Tripathi (Daroga Happu Singh), Himani Shivpuri ji (Katori Amma), and the rest of the Paltans.

For my time and attention, Anubhav Sinha is the finest contemporary filmmaker of Hindi cinema. He makes the films that he wants to. Whether the audience participates in his compelling creative process(Mulk, Article 15) or not(Anek) Anubhav is fine with it.

Bheed comes too close to the actual trauma of the Lockdown for comfort. Assuredly this masterpiece on a real palpable immediate chunk of history makes us uncomfortable, as cinema was always supposed to.

But then we decided we wanted our cinema to be a song-and-dance nautanki. Anubhav Sinha, God bless his fearless soul, decided with Mulk to move away from the bheed, no pun intended.
