Half of my family (on my mother's side) are farmers. My late grandfather used to keep pigs, hens, rabbits, sheep, and even ducks when I was growing up. He grew various kinds of crops on his field and was also in the cattle business. I've been a city boy most of my life, but I spent numerous summers in his small village as a kid, making all kinds of mischief around the house with my cousins. There was a pure freedom about it that I could smell in the fresh country air. Trees, fields, and hay barns became playgrounds. The farm animals served as friends or foes, depending on how I chose to frame them in my mind for the childish scenarios I crafted in my imagination. I rode on horseback, sat in gigantic tractors, and went on unforgettable fishing trips around the Hungarian countryside, making precious memories that I...

Jeremy Clarkson has signaled that his Amazon Prime series Clarkson’s Farm may come to a halt following its fifth season, which is currently in production. The presenter confirmed that no immediate plans are in place for a sixth installment and that the production team will be stepping away from the project after the current season is completed.
The announcement arrives just as the fourth season prepares to debut on May 23. The upcoming season introduces a new face at Diddly Squat Farm—24-year-old Harriet Cowan, a nurse and part-time farmer from Derbyshire—who joins the crew during the temporary absence of regular cast member Kaleb Cooper.
Speaking to The Times, Clarkson described the toll five years of continuous filming has taken on the crew. “We’ve been filming here two or three days a week, every week, for five years,” he said. “Everybody could do with a rest.” He acknowledged that...

Prince George is growing into quite the decisive young man. Ahead of his father Prince William’s meeting with a Clarkson’s Farm star, the young Prince, who happens to be a fan of the show, left a message for said star. Here’s his one little request.
Prince William Tells This Clarkson Farm Star His Son’s One Request Ahead of Their Meeting
Prince William met with 60 young farming tenants at a Duchy of Cornwall event this Wednesday, March 26, and during that meeting he took a moment to remind one specific someone of something important.
You see, as the father of three revealed, Prince George is a fan of Clarkson’s Farm, and as a fan, he sure as hell knows what the Clarkson Farm’s new manager, Kaleb Cooper, is capable of.
So he decided to leave a short message for him, which Prince William mercifully passed along. The message?...

Jeremy Clarkson has reported an attempted security breach at his Diddly Squat Farm, with police confirming the involvement of a van with cloned license plates and a drone suspected of conducting surveillance. The incidents occurred over the past two weeks and have raised concerns about potential criminal activity targeting the farm.
Clarkson detailed the events in The Sun, stating that five unknown men arrived in a van, surveyed the security cameras, and questioned farmhand Kaleb Cooper about the number of dogs on-site. After reporting the encounter to the police, he was informed that the vehicle’s license plates had been cloned, making it difficult to trace.
Adding to concerns, a drone was spotted flying over the farm on two separate nights, prompting further speculation that the property was being assessed for a possible break-in. Clarkson relayed that local authorities advised him to strengthen security measures in light of the incidents.

Kaleb Cooper shot to fame as Jeremy Clarkson’s farming manager in the hit Prime video series Clarkson’s Farm, and is known for arguing often with his boss and co-star while they are filming. Now he has shared that, in fact, only “40 percent” of the pair’s fallings-out are actually shown on screen.
Cooper told The Sun newspaper:
“Everything you see on the camera is everything you see behind-the-scenes as well. I mean yes we still argue and I reckon they probably only show 40 per cent of the arguments we actually have.
“But the main thing is that if we have an argument, ten minutes later we’re best friends again. We’ll be like, ‘Do you want a cup of tea? Do you want to go to the pub? Do you want to go for a meal?’”

Public service broadcasting is in a “red alert situation” in “many many markets” around the world, according to the most powerful man in British broadcasting.
BBC Director General Tim Davie urged the audience at the Deloitte and Enders Media & Telecoms 2024 and Beyond Conference to “look around the world and see what’s happening to PSBs.”
“It’s scary,” he added. “It’s really problematic. We are not merely troublesome we are in a red alert situation in many many markets and as politics gets more polarized we have to decide what we do about institutions.”
Davie said the BBC, on the other hand, is “not a market failure provider” and stressed partnerships with major global players such as Warner Bros. Discovery in sports as a factor.
But this doesn’t stop the BBC from making “uneconomic” decisions, he stressed, in order to preserve its place as a public broadcaster.

It's hard to imagine a show like Clarkson's Farm becoming one of the top-rated shows on Prime Video. In February of 2023, it broke viewing records in the UK, and the 2024 season has already snatched the top spot from Baby Reindeer, with only four episodes released.
What makes Clarkson's Farm so compelling, however, is the imbecilic, blundering buffoon that headlines the series, Jeremy Clarkson, along with his deadpan sidekick, Kaleb Cooper.
The thing is, Clarkson isn't a fool. He's simply in over his head, diving headlong into an immensely complicated livelihood, far more than anything he has ever encountered. Clarkson's journey from Top Gear to the difficulties of full-time farming is relatable.
Apart from establishing an intimate link between the audience and the show, it makes for some hilarious moments throughout the series. Authenticity is the name of the game here, and it's the beating heart behind the colorful characters that inhabit Chipping Norton,...

Prime Video has undoubtedly become a destination for quality television shows. With the recently released Fallout adaptation under its belt, the streaming platform is clearly no stranger to creating series viewers want to watch. As the month of May quickly approaches, there are a handful of new and returning shows that will surely deliver the same level of entertainment. However, while there isnt a wide range of genres offered next month, theyll certainly be engaging, nonetheless.
With two unscripted shows, two non-English language shows, and one with a unique take on the western genre, Prime Videos options for May arent audiences regular run-of-the-mill series. That being said, they still promise to be just as compelling. Although there might not be the wide variety of shows viewers would normally hope to see, everything coming to the streaming service next month will certainly captivate its subscribers, nonetheless.

“Clarkson’s Farm,” the break-out British Amazon Prime Video hit starring former “Top Gear” host Jeremy Clarkson attempting to run a farm in the Cotswolds, has just wrapped and is already in the edit suite, confirmed Amazon Studios’ U.K. head of originals Dan Grabiner.
