Celines Toribio was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She now lives in Los Angeles, California. Graduated from Lehman College (NYC) with a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications and a Minor in Theater. A year before getting her degree, Celines worked as a host of several shows for Univision Network and ESPN Deportes. Using these platforms, she showcased powerful and talented men and women through in depth television interviews, radio shows, newspaper & magazine columns. Celines quickly gained not only popularity, but also the respect and love of her community, making her a household name in the Hispanic media world Her talent. She was chosen as one of 50 Most beautiful for People En Español Magazine. In the pursuit of her dream to become an actress, Celinés moved to Los Angeles and studied acting with Arthur Mendoza in LA and Sara Mornell in Atlanta. Soon after, she landed roles alongside the likes of Michelle Rodríguez, Edward James Olmos and Vin Diesel. On the heels of a successful acting career with more than 11 films as an actress, her interest in the film industry only grew, leading her to create Esencia Films, a company dedicated to supporting meaningful and rewarding independent projects.
