Kenny Caldwell(II)
- Actor
Kenny Caldwell was born and raised in Anderston, Glasgow. A keen self taught woodworker from his early teens he took a different path and studied network engineering at Glasgow Caledonian University where he went on to obtain his BSc degree. Kenny continued with his woodworking as a hobby as much as he could, and with his heart never really in the I.T sector, it was the passing of his parents that spurred him on to make the decision to become a full-time bespoke furniture maker. With his father passing away aged 50, and then unexpectedly his mother only eight months later, also aged 50, he knew he had to make the most of life.
Kenny fell in to acting so to speak when one of his daughters asked if he'd accompany her to an acting class for support. Not wanting to let her down he joined her, albeit it was something that took him so far out his comfort zone, but surprisingly he found he enjoyed it. He then went on to enjoy some roles as a supporting artist on a mix of small student productions to big budget movies, but his break as an out and out actor came when he was cast as Finn Duncan on feature film Mortem. Originally cast as a homeless man with no dialogue, an opening presented itself and he successfully auditioned landing him the role.
