Just Go with It's soundtrack features the perfect mix of songs to usher the story toward every step of the way. The romantic comedy stars Adam Sandler as a plastic surgeon whose big move is to pretend he is married so he can hook up with women without ever having to call them again. However, when he thinks he has found a girl he would want to marry for real, he needs his work assistant (Jennifer Aniston) to pretend to be his soon-to-be ex-wife. Of course, this leads to an even more outrageous series of events and an unlikely love story.
Just Go with It was initially released back in 2011, but it has arrived to streaming on Netflix in 2024. Directed by Dennis Dugan, the Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston movie stars Brooklyn Decker, Bailee Madison, Nicole Kidman, Griffin Gluck, and more. Just Go with It also features a soundtrack...

Taylor Swift has surpassed Rhianna to become the world’s richest female musician, with a net worth estimated to be a whopping $1.6 billion.
Swift’s ascent was confirmed on Saturday, October 5th, with Forbes updating her net worth to reflect her growing fortune in the wake of the historic “Eras Tour” and the continued popularity of her catalog. Now, she’s not only topping the list of richest female musicians — surpassing Rhianna’s $1.4 billion net worth — but is ranked No. 2 on the list of richest musicians, period. Only Jay-Z is valued more, with a $2.5 billion net worth.

It looks like the Ocean's crew is getting back together, as Ocean's Fourteen is reportedly in development, and an Academy Award-nominated director is being considered. The Ocean's franchise began in 1960 with Ocean's 11 as a rat-pack-led vehicle, but in the 21st century, it was revamped as Ocean's Eleven with an all-star cast that included George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, and many more. Two sequels followed, 2004's Ocean's Twelve and 2007's Ocean's Thirteen, with a female-led spin-off, Ocean's 8, released in summer 2018. After all these years, it looks like Clooney and Pitt are finally ready to return to the franchise.
According to Deadline, All Quiet on the Western Front director Edward Berger is being considered to direct Ocean's Fourteen, with both George Clooney and Brad Pitt looking to reprise their roles as Danny Ocean and Rusty Ryan, respectively. The three previous films in the original Ocean's...

Hey, have you heard about Chappell Roan? Sorry, sorry, we know you were probably conscious at some point in the last six months, never mind. Her debut, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, came out last year, but the world wasn’t quite ready for it at the time. Now, with the release of the song-of-the-year contender “Good Luck, Babe!” and a career-making performance at Governors Ball, her gloriously glittery gems are everywhere. (Just ask Jimmy Fallon, who admitted he googled her before she guested on The Tonight Show...

As far as this year’s Oscars goes, it was undoubtedly the year of the comeback.
It was a huge comeback for Best Actor and Supporting Actor winners Brendan Fraser and former child actor Ke Huy Quan (who co-starred way back in in 1991’s Encino Man) who in 2023 have risen — finally — to the pinnacle of their profession.

Viewer Complaints About Rihanna’s Super Bowl Halftime: ‘Crotch Grabbing Is Too Far For Broadcast TV’
Not everyone loved Rihanna’s Halftime Show.
Rolling Stone and TMZ reported that the FCC received several complains from American TV viewers over the singer’s big Super Bowl Performance.

Much of the concern came from people worried about children watching Rihanna’s dance moves.
“Rhianna, the gyrating and rear end and crotch grabbing is too far for broadcast TV. It seems like almost every year performers want to do some version of this in their dancing. Please put an end to this,” one person complained.
Another said, “Perpetual air humping and glorifying being a stripper isn’t child friendly for the Super Bowl.”
Some even got the name of the performer completely wrong, like one person who complained, “I was shocked by the halftime show by Shakira. She is pregnant and was pumping her pelvis while holding her crotch...

Gather ‘round everyone! It’s that special time of year once again: The FCC complaints over the Super Bowl Halftime Show have arrived!
Rolling Stone obtained the complaints to the proverbial television manager via a Freedom of Information Act request, and you better believe people were mad about Rihanna’s performance. In total, the Foia request returned 103 pages of complaints, and almost all of them were about Rihanna — her gyrating, her crotch-grabbing, her finger-sniffing, and crude lyrics. Jimmy Kimmel used his monologue on Monday to talk about the thing everyone else was talking about today: Rihanna’s halftime show at the 2023 Super Bowl.
And Kimmel was pretty much spot-on when he noted that, first and foremost, it “has to be the biggest ‘we’re expecting’ announcement in the history of the world.
We assume you were one of the more than 113 million people who watched the Super Bowl, but just in case, the “Only Girl” singer performed in a bright red outfit tailored to accent the fact that she is obviously in late pregnancy. Yes, her reps confirmed after the show that she is pregnant again. So, congratulations.
“Her belly comes out, every living room in America just stopped, waiting for someone – preferably a woman – to say something about whether,” or not she was pregnant, Kimmel joked. “Everyone was like ‘when did she have that last baby?...

Rihanna hasn’t toured since 2016, but on Sunday during the Jay Z-produced spectacle that is the Super Bowl Lvii Halftime Show the Good Girl Gone Bad singer put on a tour de force.
Filling her less-than-15-minute set with an array of hits, floating platforms, club dance floor dynamics and spectacle, the second best-selling female artist of all time owned the field at State Farm Stadium with near pure superstar swagger.
Pushing the high-profile slot to new technological and Olympian heights, Rihanna was pure solo. With a catalog full of work with the likes of the aforementioned Jay-Z, Eminem and Drake over the decades, the “Umbrella” singer teased guest stars earlier this week, but it was all hype because when it came showtime, Rihanna did the job all on her own with only a legion of dancers as sidekicks in a performance that was totally 2023.

Rihanna shone bright like a diamond during her Super Bowl Lvii half-time show, performing a slew of her greatest hits without any special guests or pyrotechnics.
The pop star was clad in a monochromatic red jumpsuit with matching latex molded breastplate.
She opened the show on a levitating platform centerfield with “Bitch Better Have My Money,” with the expletives bleeped out (this is national TV after all).

“Wild Thoughts”
“Pour It Up”
“All of the Lights” (solo)

While she was surrounded by a slew of uniformly costumed dancers — whose pelvis-thrusting and booty-dropping moves she mimicked — her performance was a largely uncomplicated, no-fuss affair.
It was Rihanna at her purest: sultry, dynamic and passionate.

“There’s just certain things you don’t talk about,” said Sherri Shepherd on her syndicated talker today. She then indicated those verboten topics are “politics, religion and Rihanna vs. Beyoncé.”
Comments by ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith to Shepherd on that last subject yesterday ignited a firestorm of protest from not just the Sherri studio audience, but also from Rihanna’s fan base.
Here’s part of what the First Take star said. For context, Smith was asked for his thoughts about Rhianna’s upcoming Super Bowl Halftime performance.
I don’t want to say I’m not excited. She’s fantastic. That’s not where I’m going with this. She’s a lot of things. She’s spectacular. And congratulations on new mama hood. There’s one thing she’s not: She ain’t Beyoncé. [Audience boos] The only reason I brought up Beyoncé is because Beyoncé recently performed at the Super Bowl.

The Society of Composers & Lyricists has announced the nominations for its fourth annual honors for music in films, TV and video games, with French composer Alexandre Desplat and American composer Bear McCreary each scoring double nominations.
Scl, the primary organization for professional media composers, will present its awards Feb. 15 at the Skirball Cultural Center, with singer-actor-songwriter Darren Criss as host.
Voting ended Wednesday night in seven categories, just hours after the Motion Picture Academy announced its shortlists for song and score for 2022 films. The contrast between the lists is striking, with only five score nominees and six song contenders matching those on the 15-title Oscar shortlists.
The Scl nominees for outstanding score for a studio or independent film that also made Oscar’s shortlist on Wednesday are Alexandre Desplat (“Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio”), Carter Burwell (“The Banshees of Inisherin”), Michael Abels (“Nope”), John Powell (“Don’t Worry Darling”) and Son...

It could be a star-studded musical evening at the Academy Awards come March 12, as Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Rhianna and the Weeknd are all up for best-song Oscar nominations following today’s announcement of the shortlists in music.
Fifteen songs and 15 scores from 2022 movies were selected by the 389 voting members of Oscar’s music branch, and there were few surprises in the song category. The score category made history, however, with two women and three African-American composers on the list.
The music branch will vote again in January to select five nominees in each category.
Taylor Swift could, at long last, become an Oscar nominee, for her song “Carolina” from “Where the Crawdads Sing,” and Rhianna could score with her song “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” Gaga, already an Oscar winner for “Shallow” from 2018’s “A Star Is Born,” could score again with her “Top Gun: Maverick” anthem “Hold My Hand.

It has been apparent in talking to Oscar voters across many branches that the one title that keeps coming up at the top of their lists is Netflix’s All Quiet on the Western Front, which is the German entry for International Feature Film. That it has strength across the board though is borne out with the Oscar shortlists in 10 categories released Wednesday by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

All Quiet was named on five of them — in every category it could have been eligible, and is tied with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever to lead the lists.

Sunday Writethru after Saturday Update: Black Panther: Wakanda Forever‘s second weekend is coming in lower than its projected 70M+ with 67.3M, -63. That’s not necessarily something to get worried about, however, as sources keep telling me this pic’s running time is what’s slowing it down a bit. At the same time, that second weekend is slightly ahead of Black Adam‘s 67M opening weekend.
On the bright side, it’s Thanksgiving week, and if people aren’t seeing Wakanda Forever this weekend, then they’re making an appointment to see it sometime this week, hands down. Furthermore, there was always bound to be a steep drop in the Friday-to-Friday coming off the Veterans Day holiday and previews a week ago, that number being -79 for 17.9M Friday.

Rhianna has finally returned to save music and, while she's at it, cinema. The global popstar is making her much-anticipated return to the airwaves with a new original song for the soundtrack of "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever." The lead single, "Lift Me Up," will debut this Friday, October 28.
Per the press release, "Lift Me Up" was written, "as a tribute to the extraordinary life and legacy of Chadwick Boseman." Just in case you weren't sure about your ability to make it through the film without tears, Rhianna's got you covered. The song is a collaboration between Tems, Oscar winner Ludwig Göransson, Rihanna, and Ryan Coogler.
