Biography

The actor named "b" was born in Fresno CA and lives and works in NYC and LA. They are a Genderqueer artist born to a Mexican mother and a father who is Louisiana Creole.They play Phoenix in season 5 of the hit series "You" on Netflix, and Officer Nicki Reynolds on Elsbeth. b can be seen playing Loochie opposite Dan Stevens in AMC's "The Terror" season 3 (2026). Additional TV credits include the Apple TV+ series WeCrashed, Let The Right One In for showtime and Station 19 for ABC. b also starred in the Disney+ pilot Witch Mountain. They are a co-executive producer and lead actor on the Qcode fantasy podcast series Birds of Empire. In the theatre, b most notably starred in Second Stage Theater production of "Toros" (NY Times Critic's Pick) for which they received a best supporting actor HOLA Award in 2024. They also led the New York Theatre Workshop production of "American (Tele)visions'' for which The Wall Street Journal called b's performance "Extraordinary: a commanding presence able to dart among the variegated styles with nimble ease." b will be playing Antonio in the star studded cast of Twelfth Night for the Public Theatre's 2025 Shakespeare in the Park.
