The Guadalajara Trio

The Guadalajara Trio, who also appeared as "The Guadalajara Boys", were a trio of guitarist-singers who appeared in several movies in the 1940s. Comprised of Lee Ramos, Jesús Castillón, Lamberto Leyva, and Mario Santos, the group also performed with various orchestras. Generally decked out in stereotypical (Hollywoodish) Mexican outfits, the group specialized in the popular Latino rhythm songs of the 1940s and 1950s. Castillón and Santos later worked in the Desi Arnaz Orchestra and can be seen in the orchestra in some episodes of "I Love Lucy".
