Luke Powell is a highly acclaimed New Zealand-born chef based in Sydney, Australia, renowned for his expertise in charcuterie, smoked meats, and high-quality smallgoods. He is the founder and owner of LP's Quality Meats and was also involved with Bella Brutta Pizza. Luke began his culinary journey in New Zealand in 1996. He moved to Sydney in 2004 and honed his skills in some of Australia's most prestigious fine-dining establishments. Notably, he was Head Chef at Tetsuya's, a highly awarded and influential restaurant in Sydney, for four years until 2012. He also staged at renowned international restaurants like Mugaritz in Spain and Blue Hill at Stone Barns in upstate New York.
