Actress,director Divya Palat's father Raghu Palat is the great grandson of C.Sankaran Nair. Raghu Palat wrote a book which was later made into the film Kesari 2 - Jallian Wala Bagh. The film was inspired by real-life events and adapted from the book "The Case That Shook the Empire, written by Raghu Palat and his wife Pushpa Palat.
