Amaleka McCall
Before breaking stories on screen, Amaleka McCall was breaking cases as a special agent with the federal government, navigating high-stakes investigations, interrogating criminals, and uncovering secrets most people will never hear about. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Amaleka learned early how to read a room, spot deception, and stay two steps ahead-skills that now give her storytelling an edge. She earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice at St. John's University and a master's in public administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

With a 19-year career in federal law enforcement, Amaleka brings authenticity, grit, and adrenaline-fueled tension to her writing. Whether unraveling psychological thrillers, crime dramas, high-stakes mysteries, or giving voice to characters navigating life, love, and pursuing happiness, she crafts stories with real-world depth that keep audiences on the edge of their seats. As an author, she penned several gripping crime thrillers and mysteries, including A Twisted Tale of Karma (re-released as Myra), Hush, Price of Fame, Hard Candy, Hard Candy Part 2, 1 Night Stand, and 2 Timers. In addition, she has ghostwritten over 50 novels, further sharpening her ability to craft intricate plots and layered characters.

Amaleka transitioned to television and film, co-writing eight episodes of Haus of Vicious and the TV movies Imani and Whatever It Takes. She is passionate about bringing fresh, authentic stories to television and film, drawing from her real-world experiences to create compelling narratives.

Amaleka is a devoted wife and mother, balancing raising a family with the thrill of creating gripping stories. She loves to spend her time watching movies, reading, and proving that sometimes, real life is just as suspenseful as fiction.
