After sitting dutifully through this monstrous melange of mindlessness and crassness, I am convinced the medley of lobotomized mayhem — a sort of Animal without the sass, the impunity, basic intelligence and Ranbir Kapoor — is put together by a bunch of blind dimwits. Film music in South Indian cinema has increasingly been employing heavy guitar riffs as is evident from movies such as ‘Jailer’ and ‘Kantara’. As such, ‘Fanthem’ is no exception to employing a more rock based experimental approach to music, while still retaining the standard film signature.
The track’s own production seems very deliberate as the mixing choice is very restrained. The heavy usage of industrial samples is very evident in the sound design while the bass, though audible enough, is surprisingly thin and very buried in the mix.

Bollywood biopic Pm Narendra Modi will hit the theatres on May 24, after the Lok Sabha Election results are announced, the makers said on Friday. The film, on the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was stopped just a night before its worldwide release on April 11 when the parliamentary polls kicked off. The Election Commission said that any material which disturbs a level playing field should not be allowed.
Producer Sandip Ssingh said: "As a responsible citizen, we respect the law of the country. After a lot of discussions and given the curiosity and excitement about the film, we have decided to release the film immediately after the Lok Sabha Election results (to be announced on May 23)."

Actor Prashant Narayanan has been roped in to play the antagonist in the upcoming film Pm Narendra Modi.
"Prashant will be the antagonist. His role is a fictional character of the biggest business tycoon of the country called Aditya Reddy. He has started shooting for the film in Ahmedabad," said a source close to the film.?
Prashant is happy to be part of the project. "I am grateful to Mukesh Chabbra and Sandip S Singh for giving me this role and believing in me. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, I am excited. This set is like a big family to me," Prashant said in a statement.?
To this, producer Sandip S Singh added, "Mukesh Chhabra thought Prashant suits the role. When he came on board I remember he told me a line that 'leave Aditya Reddy (his character) on me'. We trusted him and he has started shooting.

Boy visits neighbourhood gangster Tony Mota (so called because, we are informed, he is discernibly fat in some part of his body, giggle giggle) and asks for a solution.
"Hit him back," says Mota Tony, and instantly endears himself to the child-hero who grows up to be Harman Baweja.
Quite a stroke of luck for the burdened script. Harman brings to the narrative a residue of angst that serves the plot well. He plays a gangster who suffers constantly.

Mumbai, Sep 24: "War Chhod Na Yaar", described as the first war comedy of the country, is yet to come out, but the makers are already planning a sequel, thanks to the positive response to its promos.
Directed by Faraz Hayeder and produced by Aopl Entertainment, "War Chhod Na Yaar" features Sharman Joshi and Soha Ali Khan in the lead roles.
"We believe in the film and I am sure it will work. The subject is strong and the response that we have got so far for the film is very positive," Prashant Narayanan, managing director of the company, told Ians.

"I badly missed Manisha while shooting the film. As people know, I consider her as my lucky mascot. She was supposed to play the protagonist in the film. But when she fell ill, I had to change the entire story line as she is irreplaceable," Prakash said.

Shilpa Shetty who had launched her production house Essential Sports and Media Pvt Ltd. a couple of years back, went on floor with their maiden production venture Diskkiyaaoon in early 2012. However the latest is that Sanjay Dutt who was initially supposed to play an extended cameo in the film has opted out of the project citing date issues.
Apparently, Dutt who is a close pal and business associate of Shilpa and husband Raj Kundra, had agreed to do the cameo but has since committed dates to Raju Hirani's P.K. Concerned over delaying Shilpa's project, Dutt has opted out of it.
Confirming the development, Dutt's spokesperson says that since Sanju has already allotted bulk dates to Hirani for P.K and to T.P. Agarwal for his film, his packed schedule fails to accommodate Shilpa's project. Not wanting her film to suffer due to the delays, Dutt has opted out.

If Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg were to be merged wuth Anant Velankar in Govind Nihalani’s Ardh Satya we would probably get Abhijeet Patil in Mumbai Mirror.
Patil, played by entrepreneur-actor Sachiin Joshi, is the product of Mumbai’s underbelly. He is a cop. But he could well be on the other side of the law without skipping a beat.
Like Om Puri in Ardh Satya Joshi’s character in its childhood watched his sadistic father beat up his mother. Joshi grows up churlish and somewhat amoral, hating the world for what it allowed his father to do to his mother. He can’t bear to see a woman being hit. Neither can we. But we still have to.

Mumbai, Dec 14: After some hard-hitting performances as an actor, Prashant Narayanan has turned composer for a song for his upcoming film "Dhishkiyaon".
"I am also composing the title track of 'Dhishkiyaon'. I am working on the end title track as a composer," Prashant said here Thursday at the premiere of his new film "Cigarette Ki Tarah."
"Dhishkiyaon" is being co-produced by Shilpa Shetty, but the actress is not ready to talk about it yet.
Asked the reason behind it, Prashant said, "She must be tight-lipped about it because they say that 'nazar lag jaati hai'".

Mumbai, Dec 13: Actor Prashant Narayanan will be seen in "Mumbai Mirror" as a police inspector. He says he has just a guest appearance, but nevertheless, it is important.
"It's a guest appearance actually, but then it's very important also, so (I did it). Ankush (Bhatt) felt that I should do it. They would have missed me if I had not done this film. So, they requested me a lot to do it," the actor said here Wednesday at the launch of the movie's first look.
Prashant says he has added a personal touch to the film.
"Quantity wise the role is very small, but quality wise it's very interesting and since I myself have.
