Matthew Taket is a British-Australian aspiring filmmaker from Campbelltown, South- Western Sydney. Born on the Central Coast and raised both there and in Camden, he is new to the
world of filmmaking but keen to learn as much as he can. He also co-hosts an inter-generational film review podcast called 'X vs Y'.
He has worked with Phoenix Eye Films on several projects, including Operation Kung Flu (2021) and Obsidian (2021). With the support of Phoenix Eye Films, he is excited to share his directorial debut short film Millennial Story (2021).
