LaQuita Langhorn

After diving into her writing career in 2014, LaQuita made it her mission to write compelling stories that inspired audiences around the world. She pivoted into screenwriting around the pandemic in 2020, deciding to take control of her destiny by enrolling into film & video production courses at the University of Memphis. She graduates with a Bachelors of Art in Communication and also a Bachelors of Arts in Film & Video Production. She founded Midsouth Films in 2020, a production studio that offers educational resources and production services. With more than 20 published novels and 15 completed feature films, LaQuita hopes to inspire others to follow their dreams and encourage growth and diversity in the film industry. Throughout the years she has developed her skills to play a crucial role in any stage of production whether its developing screenplays, producing films, collaborating with other professionals to direct a vision, or see a production through it's post production. She's proof that with goals, anything can happen.
