The girls, over the course of the series, must learn to trust each other and themselves as they grow into formidable fighters and legendary cosmic warriors. Aside from battling, the girls also find close friends within the others, forming a sort of sisterhood among the Sailor Guardians. No matter what foes the group may face, their loyalty to one another stands the test of time and even the most difficult battles.

In the group's ranks are two Sailor Senshi who have a similar sense of justice: Sailor Mars and Sailor Venus, also known as Rei Hino and Minako Aino.
