Santostefano Marco

Marco Santostefano is an Italian Director and Screenwriter. Since he was a child he loved to tell stories, always looking for new ideas to amaze and bring the viewer into his "world". He dedicates a large part of his formative years at cinema embracing the "Tarkovskijan" philosophy considering art as one of the major "religions". Right after attaining his diploma with honors, in 2012 he attended the Genoa Comics Academy where he learned the foundation of the screenplay. In 2015 he enrolled at the SDAC (film art school) where he writes and directs his first short film "3V4" which in addition to winning a commendation for merit school, also gets a prize from the festival "La Lanterna", In 2018 he passed the selections limited number for the European Union funded Digital Storyteller course where he receives the professional qualification as a screenwriter. Since 2019 he collaborates as a videomaker with companies writing and making videos for cultural and informative purposes for museums and theatrical performances. In January 2020 he completed his latest short film written and directed by him entitled "Oltre la Porta Chiusa"
