Santi Amodeo wraps the shoot for @Las_Gentiles - Production / Funding - Spain

The Spanish helmer began filming his sixth feature back in February; the movie tackles how today’s youngsters face reality through social networks. After having kicked off on 22 February, and after five weeks of principal photography on location in Seville, Mairena de Aljarafe and Punta Umbría (Huelva), Santi Amodeo wrapped the shoot for his new feature @Las_Gentiles (lit. "@The_Nice_Girls") a few days ago. It stars first-time actresses África de la Cruz and Paula Díaz, who respectively breathe life into the characters of Ana and Corrales, two 17-year-old girls who pour every aspect of their lives onto social networks, where reality and fantasy often blur and intermingle. The cast is rounded off by Beatriz Cotobal, Olga Navalón, Lola Buero, Teresa Cruz, Rafa Vera and Alva Inger. The actors were chosen through a casting session that saw more than 200 hopefuls take part, because in his own words, the director was looking.
