Laura was born in Seoul, South Korea, and immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of 14. She settled in Delaware for two years before moving to Long Island, New York, where she graduated from high school. Initially studying Global Liberal Studies at New York University, Laura later transferred to the University of Southern California in Los Angeles to pursue acting. She also studied acting at the British American Drama Academy in London.
From a young age, Laura received training as a classical singer and performed in the All-State Choir during high school. In addition to her pursuits in acting and singing, Laura is deeply committed to teaching languages. She volunteers to teach English to North Korean defectors and works as a freelance Korean language instructor besides her acting career.
Passionate about travel, Laura has explored over 50 countries across six continents, enriching her experiences and worldview.
