Chicago native Trae Ireland is an Actor, Producer, Writer, Director with an impressive list of Movie, Television, & Theatre credits. Trae has had the privilege to join an elite cast of A-listers in the high powered action movie and one of "Bruce Willi's" last films in "FORTRESS."
Trae has had a stints on "HBO's" "Golden Globe" nominated show "SMILF" & "HBO's" Emmy nominated show "Silicon Valley." Trae has also produced, and starred in the hit seasonal "BET" Christmas movie, "For The Love of Christmas" which airs annually on all "BET" platforms.
Inking a deal with Netflix...Trae's movie "Pierre Jackson" (in which he Produced & Starred) broke records domestic and internationally on the streaming platform. His performance lead him Trae to win the "HAPAWARD'S" "BEST ACTOR" Leading male in a feature film for his role in "Pierre Jackson."
Trae has a feature movie that he has funded, produced and starred in titled, "I Left My Girlfriend For Regina Jones," starring "Elise Neal,""KJ Smith,""Wesley Jonathan" and "Adel Givens which was released in the fall of 2022.
In Theatre...Trae has Starred alongside "Loretta Devine," "Ledisi," & "Ernest Thomas" in "Don B Welch's" Hit Stage-play, "Yes! God is Real." Trae has also toured nationwide sharing the stage with, "Morris Chestnut," "Michelle Williams" (Destiny's Child), "Tiffany Haddish," "Brian White," & "Clifton Davis" in "David E. Talbert's" hit Stage-play, "What My Husband Doesn't Know."
As a Producer on the "Major" studio level, Trae has been producing and consulting at Sony Screen Gems from 2002-Present. "First Sunday, Death At A Funeral, Takers, Think Like A Man 1 & 2, Residents Evil & Underworld, & "Black & Blue to name a few.
As a Director...Trae has been mentored and trained to direct sitcoms by comedy heavyweight "Bentley Kyle Evans" ("Martin," The Jamie Foxx Show," & "Netflix's "Dad Stop Embarrassing Me" to name a few. This has led Trae to direct the hysterical sitcoms, "Arnolds Caribbean Pizza," House Out of Order," & "Bff's" to name a few.
