- Spent a year after college contemplating a career choice. Spent most of his time renting low budget independent films during that time. Decided to make West Bank Brooklyn after watching "The Brothers Mcmullen" and "Laws of Gravity."
- Wrote the script for West Bank Brooklyn in six months with no revisions. The shooting script was the first draft.
- Started doing stand-up comedy senior year in high school and performed at many of New York City's best comedy clubs.
