Veronica Falcón was born in Mexico City. She is considered one of Mexico's most prestigious & versatile actors, as well as an outstanding choreographer. In 2015, she moved with her family to the US, within months she was cast as one of the leads of the hit television series "Queen of the South", where she played "Camila Vargas" the character quickly became a fan favorite.
Since then, Ms Falcon has worked in several prestige television shows: "Ozark" opposite to Laura Linney, Julia Garner & Jason Bateman. HBO's "Perry Mason" opposite to Matthew Rhys & John Lithgow, Steven Conrad's critically acclaimed "Perpetual Grace Ltd" where she played "Clara" opposite to Sir Ben Kingsley, Luis Guzmán & Jackie Weaver, Marc Cherry's "Why Women Kill" & Ryan Murphy's "911", to name a few.
In film, her most recent filmography includes: "Lee Cronin's The Mummy" opposite to Jack Reynor, Laia Costa & May Elghety, Disney's "Jungle Cruise" where she played "Trader Sam" next to Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt & Jesse Plemons. "A Million Miles Away" opposite to Michael Peña. "The Forever Purge" opposite to Tenoch Huerta & "Voyagers" opposite to Collin Farrel. Veronica started as an actor on stage, then film & television. For many years, Ms. Falcón was the artistic Director of her own independent theatre company. Her body of work in the theatre includes productions in Mexico, Berlin & the US. She holds credits on stage as an actress, director, choreographer, producer & playwright. In 2013, she won a grant as such, the award was a stimulus from the "Global Micro-theatre" project to produce new work. Her play was produced & had successful runs in Mexico City and Miami. 2022 marked Ms. Falcon New York stage debut. "The Redbull Theatre Company" invited her to their Off Broadway production of "Arden of Faversham". Veronica won the "HOLA Award" for Excellence in the theatre as Best Supporting Actress for that role. Ms Falcon has been nominated twice as an actress for the "Imagen Award". In 2019 she was honored with the "Impact Award" given by the National Hispanic Media Coalition for excellence in television and in 2024, the Santa Fe Film Festival honored her with the "The Trailblazer Visionary award" and the "Best actress award".
Ms. Falcón was invited several times to work with Mexico's National Opera as a choreographer. Her choreography of Mozart's "Don Giovanni" is still regarded as one of the most original works ever created for the Company. She choreographed several of the most popular Latam pop stars in the 90's as well as concerts, commercials & fashion shows. At age fifteen, Veronica was awarded a Teacher's Degree in English, she is also fluent in German & French. She is developing projects for film & television as a writer, editing a compilation of her short stories for publication and curating her photographic work for an upcoming exhibit. On her personal life, she is quite private, she was married for more than two decades to Polish actor-director Marius Biegai, they have a son together: Lucca and they remain close friends. Ms Falcon lives in Los Angeles, California.
