Takshashil Sontakke is a promising Marathi filmmaker, writer, and director. He made his directorial debut with Parvatinagar (2020), where he also handled art direction and production design to achieve the film's distinctive look. He worked as the Associate Director for the Marathi cult classic Tendlya (2023) and directed the web series Jackpot. He was also the Associate Director of the TV series Jiv Jhala Yeda Pisa (2019). He is currently the Associate Director of Kimidin (2024), directed and produced by Nilesh Navalakha, known for acclaimed films like Shala and Fandry. Takshashil is also the founder of the Sangli National Short Film Festival, providing a platform for aspiring filmmakers. Currently, He is also in the pre-production phase of two projects, "Ra Ravan" and "Kirti Vijay"
