A crew member recently died after getting electrocuted on the sets of Anupamaa. The 32-year-old man was identified as Vineet Kumar Mandal, a camera attendant. The incident has sparked concerns about the safety of the cast and crew on the sets.

The incident took place on November 14 at 9:30 pm when camera assistant Vineet Kumar Mandal got electrocuted on the sets of Anupamaa in Goregaon Film City, Mumbai. As per reports, he hailed from Bihar and worked as a focus puller for television show production.

Mumbai, Dec 24 (Ians) Actors Samriddhi Shukla, Vijayendra Kumeria, Shivam Khajuria, Mohit Malik and Rohit Chandel have revealed about their preparations for the Christmas festival, and expressed their eagerness to celebrate it as well.

Vijayendra, who plays Angad in the show ‘Teri Meri Doriyaann’, said: “I will definitely celebrate it with my daughter. I will get her a lot of gifts and surprise her with the fact that Santa left them for her. I try to make it a special day for her, as Christmas is generally every kid’s favourite festival. I would ask Santa to bless me with good work.”

He further said that that show that he is currently doing is getting a lot of love, and wants the love to multiply to infinity.

He said: “After my show Mann Sundar ended, I was offered a negative role in Kumkum Bhaygya. I was super excited as the role narrated to me was quite exciting and promising. But after I joined the show there were many creative changes and the show was set to take a leap. I decided to quit it and explore new opportunities.”

Shivam will now enter ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ to play a parallel lead role along with Samridhii Shukla and Shezada Dhami.

The actor said that when he quit the show, he wasn’t in talks for ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’.

He continued: “It was all destiny. The time I quit Kumkum Bhaygya I wasn’t in talks with Yeh Rishta or any other shows.

The makers have ensured that quality of the content is maintained. There have been a lot of obstacles during the shoot, but we bounced back every single time,” he said.

“I think the audience always loves content that are intense. The concept of victory of good over evil is deeply-rooted within us, which we have shown yet again with this narrative,” Shivam said.
