Leigh Ellen Enns was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Since she received her first lead in an elementary school musical she has been passionate about acting. Throughout high school she performed in numerous drama and musical productions including the role of Dorothy in "Wizard of Oz", and was awarded for Outstanding Drama/Musical Performance in 1999. She also performed in and studied drama/theatre and film at the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg. Her first professional theatre lead was the role of Juliet in William Shakespeare's "Romeo & Juliet", where she performed for audiences atop a parkade rooftop in the heart of downtown Winnipeg. She continues to actively pursue a career in film and theatre.
