Prima Rusdi was born in Gottingen, West Germany in 1967, and was
brought up in Jakarta, Indonesia. She graduated with a journalism
degree concentrating in mass communication from the University of
Indonesia. She received a scholarship from the Australian Government
and attended the University of Canberra and graduated with an M.A. in
International Communication. Between 1996-2000 Prima worked as Senior
Copywriter at an International Advertising company, Lintas where she
won several awards. In 2000, Prima joined Miles Production and was
involved in writing the feature film 'Ada Apa Dengan Cinta?' (2002).
She then co-wrote the DV film Eliana, Eliana (2002). She is currently working on a
few feature-length scripts.
