Anupama was born in Tanakpur, Uttarakhand, India. She graduated from Lucknow University and later earned a postgraduate degree from the School of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Pune, India.
Anupama's career began in modeling before joining Ekjute theatre group in Mumbai, India. Where she spent five years performing prominent roles.
She has appeared in the Paramount Production (AppleTV) web series Shantaram (2022) and has been featured in Indian films such as Pinky Beauty Parlour (2016), Wheres Vibhuti (2020) and Hello Mamma (2017)(short film)
