She also plays the wife, opposite comedian Rob Brydon, in a series of P&O adverts from 2016. The original adverts caused controversy on Mumsnet due to the vacuous nature the writers gave to the female characters (housewives spending their husbands' money). Later adverts in the series had the wife more worldly than her dim husband.
