The popular anime adaptation of the fan-favorite Webtoon series True Beauty has received a major update. The brand-new anime season, recently announced on the series' official X (formerly Twitter) account, is set to stream on Crunchyroll.
Webtoon's extremely popular True Beauty series received its debut anime adaptation of the same name in 2024. Developed by Studio N and Cocktail Media, the anime released 13 episodes that were well-received by fans and critics alike, with Crunchyroll making it available for viewers in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, Cis and India. Crunchyroll recently announced it would stream Season 2 upon its release, which was officially announced to be in production in a New Year's post depicting its main characters dressed in traditional Korean hanbok.

Via a press release, Beyond Fest announced that My Hero Academia's latest film, My Hero Academia: You're Next, will have its earliest North American screening at Hollywood's The Egyptian Theatre on Oct. 6, 2024. The film is the first to be distributed by Toho International, with its North American premiere coming a week before its nationwide rollout on Oct. 11. Deku's voice actor Daiki Yamashita and All Might & Dark Might voice actor Kenta Miyake will also be in attendance.
