Kenneth Kotowski

Born and raised in New Jersey, Kenneth served four years in the USAF prior to enrolling in college at William Paterson University where he received his BA in Communications with a concentration in Media Production. Kenneth discovered his calling as a Cinematographer while in college and worked as a Director of Photography on his first feature length project the summer after graduation. Kenneth then received his MFA in Media Production / Cinematography from CUNY City College of New York. Since then Kenneth has been working steadily as a freelance Cinematographer. With hundreds of commercials, dozens of short films, music videos and documentaries, as well as several feature length projects under his belt Kenneth has gained a diverse portfolio and a reputation for being able to shoot anything that comes his way. In addition to his ongoing work on sets in and around the NYC area, he currently teaches filmmaking part time at his alma mater WPU, and works part time as a Lighting Director at msnbc, all while raising his two beautiful daughters with his wife and their three cats in Bloomfield NJ.
