Ivan Sinitsin
- Actor
Ivan (pronounced ee-v-AH-n) Sinitsin was born in California in 2012. With a grandmother who is a philologist and a devoted theater enthusiast, Ivan was introduced to poetry and the performing arts at an early age, often participating in her theatrical endeavors. This early exposure laid the foundation for his artistic ambitions. He began his creative journey at the age of six, engaging in ballroom dancing, piano, saxophone, gymnastics, combat karate, and theater. By age seven, Ivan began formal acting classes, and the following year made the decision to fully pursue an acting career in Hollywood. In support of his dreams, his family relocated to Los Angeles, where Ivan now resides. Ivan booked his first role at the age of nine, working alongside Alex Sparrow in a project yet to be announced. Shortly after, he booked his first feature film role in Nomad, playing the younger version of the protagonist (portrayed by Leo Woodall) in an epic film shot across all seven continents, directed by Taron Lexton. In 2023, he appeared in an episodic role on 9-1-1: Lone Star, and that same year portrayed Rapper Boy in Christmas Angel, directed by LazRael Lison. He also joined the Star Wars universe with a recurring voice role as Jax (SP-32) in the final season of The Bad Batch. In 2024, Ivan filmed the feature American Solitaire, directed by Aaron Davidman, playing the young version of the protagonist, Slinger. He was also cast for the role of young Andrew Gurney in the short film Redlining, directed by Jason Stuart. In voiceover, Ivan recently made his international dubbing debut, voicing Revo and several other characters in the Italian film The Children's Train (English dub), which premiered on Netflix. Beyond acting, Ivan remains deeply engaged in the performing arts. He continues to train and compete in ballroom dance with his sister throughout Southern California, and in 2022 began intensive ballet training as a pre-professional student at The Grand Academy of Ballet in Los Angeles. He also plays piano, saxophone, and ukulele. Always expanding his skill set, Ivan has now added boxing to his training-further enhancing his physicality and versatility as an actor. Outside of the arts, Ivan enjoys reading, writing, learning new jokes, going to the gym, and spending as much time outdoors as possible, especially playing soccer.
