- Gonçalo Almeida is in the main cast of "Those About To Die", directed by Roland Emmerich and Marco Kreuzpaintner. In the series, inspired by the book by Daniel Mannix and shot at the historic Cinecitta studios in Rome, Gonçalo plays Elia, one of the Corsi brothers.
He recently starred with Miguel Guilherme in the play "The Heart of a Boxer" by Lutz Hubner, directed by João Lourenço, which ran for four months at the Teatro Aberto in Lisbon. With TEC - Teatro Experimental de Cascais, and directed by Carlos Avilez, he was in the cast of Tennessee Williams' "Camino Real", Shakespeare's "Hamlet" and Luigi Pirandello's "The Mountain Giants". Gonçalo played the lead role in the short film "Monte Clérigo", directed by Luís Campos.
