Abigail was born in England, raised in New Zealand, and spent three years training abroad in New York. She was awarded a scholarship to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and graduated after completing full-time conservatory training. Abigail also studied with the Upright Citizens Brigade , taking improvisational comedy classes. Before moving overseas, Abigail was part of several theatre productions in New Zealand at The Basement, working with Young & Hungry and Auckland Theatre Company's Next Big Thing. Her other credits include film, television, and commercial work, and she holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and anthropology from The University of Auckland.
