Performed in his first play at age 12 at P. S. 41 in the Bronx. Attended the University of New York at Albany A member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. Played musician Charlie Parker in a college production of "A Bird Flies In A Guilded Cage", directed by D. B. Woodside. In 2001, nominated for N.A.A.C.P.
